Aaahh.. I don’t think there are enough words to describe how beautiful Valencia truly is! I could honestly live there the rest of my life and be completely happy with life forever! There is so much history behind this city, and all the historical buildings were left untouched! We got an apartment right in the middle of the city and it was everything! I loved being able to walk out the door and just be right there, in the middle of everything! The first day we got there we just relaxed and unpacked everything, then walked downtown to the mall and did all of our shopping! The shopping was INCREDIBLE I fell in love with everything I saw!
The second day we spent the whole day exploring the city, we went to one of the worlds largest/longest parks! It used to be a giant river that dried up, and they turned it into a beautiful park! It was incredible, and then we walked down to see the school of arts. Its this beautiful white building with water surrounding it. It was soo pretty! And close to the school was the best little crepe place called “Maria’s” I was craving a crepe the whole trip and this totally exceeded all my expectations! We spent the rest of the day sight seeing and exploring this beautiful city, I was in heaven because it was just so overwhelmingly beautiful.
The third day we as a family had the opportunity to see Tyler baptize the sweetest little girl. When he served his mission here he converted this girls family right before he left to come home. This little girl waited for 5 weeks to be baptized till we came to Spain as a family so Tyler could be the one to baptize her. I thought that was so amazing, this family was honestly so incredible, and being able to witness this was probably my favorite thing about this whole trip! After the baptism, this little girls family took our whole family out to this authentic restaurant, they served us SO. MUCH. FOOD. they just kept bringing out plates after plates of food. I ate rabbit. yes I am not proud of it, but it happened. Logan told me it was chicken (it looked and tasted like chicken!) because I wouldn’t eat rabbit so he lied to me! So rude, but it was pretty good and I couldn’t even tell the difference.
This trip was seriously so amazing, and Tatum was suuuch a good baby, I am so blessed to be apart of this family, and get the opportunity to travel to a new country and experience everything I did. Definitely a trip to remember!
